Went out around noon yesterday to see if i could find some willing brown trout. No brown trout wanted to play but the bow bows were everywhere.

Got out in the cold for some car camping and fishing with my little brother this weekend before I leave for Arkansas. The fishing was tough but I managed to get John to stick a couple in the face.

Monday night Alan and I headed south towards Ashvegas for some car camping. We harassed the troots but the main reason for our trip was to catch up with friend Brad Bohen from Musky Country Outfitters while he was in town doing a tying demo for Hunter Banks Fly Shop.

Sunday the rain came, but too little, too late. We moved some bigger fish and caught a few browns, just not the beast we were after. Still a great weekend.

My little brother and I hit the river this weekend. We headed out Friday night and car camped. Saturday was blue bird skies and John slammed the rainbows, We were holding out for the Sunday rain they were calling for in hopes of moving some big browns.

So while we were ‘tearing it up’ catching fish smaller than the flies Scott and Scott were throwing, they were busy putting a state record in the boat 52x26.
